JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for a full or part-time, flexible position. If you are a self-motivated individual with experience in property inspections, come join our team as a Residential & Commercial Property Inspector. This position is ideally suited for those with other business interests, such as home inspection, roof inspection and property management. Our inspectors work out of their homes, making contact with borrowers, scheduling inspections, and preparing/uploading the subsequent reports to the company website. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Completes physical inspections of properties within an assigned territory, which includes inspection of all exterior areas, interior common areas, a select number of occupied/vacant units, and roof/mechanical areas
• Uploads written reports to company website
• Attends trainings or meetings as required
• Must Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
• Must Follows all safety and security procedures
• Must Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have the experience and/or training to adequately assess the physical condition of a property
• One to three years of inspection/construction experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Strong computer, typing, and internet skills
• Able to work quickly and efficiently, meeting hard due dates with a minimum of supervision and a high degree of integrity
• Must be available to work two full week days per week (depending on territory)
• Reliable transportation to cover a wide territory
• Must be physically able to complete a full day of inspections, including climbing ladders to inspect roofs (where safely accessible)
• Must pass a criminal background check and an driving check
