We are seeking an energetic, dependable mattress sales associate to join our growing team. You will directly assist customers and process transactions. Top notch customer service along with closing skills is a must. You must have the ability to learn our products quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment. We are family owned & operated. Mattress Sales Associate Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet customers as they enter the store in a friendly manner

• Offer help and provide direct assistance to customers

• Provide product knowledge including features, benefits, and show overall value

• Answer customer questions and concerns

• Attend to the unique, individual shopping needs of each customer

• Cross-sell and encourage beneficial product add-ons

• Up sell when appropriate and promote current sales and promotions

• Must have the ability to close sales

• Handle customer complaints in a calm and professional manner

• Report anything unusual on any major incidents to management immediately

• Maintain a clean tidy work space at all times

• Be enthusiastic and informative about all products

• Trustworthy, dependable and able to work Independently at times

• Help create a positive environment in which to shop

• Work as a team to achieve sales goals

Mattress Sales Associate Requirements and Qualifications

• 
  Have a sales mindset not a clerk mentality

• Computer literate and familiarity using POS systems

• Dependable transportation required

• Extremely personable, positive, approachable with good hygiene

• Fantastic customer service skills

• Mattress/Furniture sales background preferred

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred

• Previous sales and/or hospitality experience a major plus

• Must be a person who can ask for the order. A solution orientated individual
