Opportunity:
Our Retail Lending Division is seeking experienced mortgage professionals in Seattle for the position of Mortgage Consultant. Originator friendly platform, marketing strategies and comprehensive loan products allow our Mortgage Consultants to focus more on converting new business, capture more market share and build better customer relationships. Sales is truly supported by Operations with processors taking ownership of loan files and working with clients from application to closing. Paperless systems help streamline our processes to provide 24 hour underwriting turn times. We offer aggressive compensation packages while maintaining competitive pricing.

Responsibilities:
Each originator has a private office in a professional setting and is expected to match this with a full time Monday through Friday work schedule. In our Retail Lending Division, we provide all of the leads with approximately 5 inbound call leads and 5 to 10 outbound dial leads each day from all sources radio, television, internet and more. Mortgage Consultants at American Equity are to convert the inbound and outbound calls all while maintaining a positive attitude. Since we provide all of the processing functions, the American Equity originator must be very comfortable managing leads and carrying a very active pipeline and must be able to evolve and adapt to a constantly changing industry. An NMLS license is required for each state we serve.
