Shelf Engine is looking for a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the Company's core financial forecasting and reporting, creating financial visibility for stakeholders across the organization. This position is based in Seattle, WA and reports directly to our Head of Finance.
As a Senior Financial Analyst at Shelf Engine, you will:

Develop accurate financial forecasts, build informative financial models, and report on key business metrics
Create and analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes
Partner with cross-functional department leaders to provide reporting and guidance relating to their OpEx budgets
Partner with the People Operations team on headcount planning, leading monthly forecast meetings and reporting
Partner with internal Analytics team to ensure alignment on all financial reporting
Support the continued development of Strategic Planning, Financial Forecasting, and Department Budgeting processes
Help select, implement, and work with new financial planning and budget management software.
Develop impactful presentations for Board and Leadership team meetings as needed
Participate in a variety of ad-hoc projects to drive continual operational improvements and efficiencies across the company
We think you would make a great Financial Analyst if you have:
4+ years of experience, preferably in FP&A or Investment Banking
Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work cross-functionally
Excellent attention to detail, a bias for action, and independent problem solving ability
Strong analytical skills with the ability to tease insights from unstructured information
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to toggle between various thought levels when appropriate, i.e., getting in the weeds vs. big picture thinking
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and adapt when needed
Advanced Excel skills required
Experience with BI Tools required; SQL and Tableau experience preferred
Confidence working with employees at all levels of the organization
