Job description

Position: Senior Machine Learning Scientist

Experience: 2+ Years

Location: San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA

Education: Preferred: MS/PhD in a STEM or statistical subject.

You will be:

• Identifying and solving machine learning problems involving Bayesian optimization, neural networks, NLP, computer vision, and more
• Productionizing solutions at scale
• Committing and reviewing code in Python, Tensorflow, and Java
• Working with experimental and live data
• Communicating and collaborating with engineering, product management, and client support teams

Requirements:

(NB: years of experience specified below may be concurrent)

• 2+ years professional experience implementing machine learning algorithms
• 2+ years professional experience writing production-quality code
• Familiarity with probability, statistics, linear algebra
• 12+ months intensive experience with at least one of the following:

-Bayesian optimization, Bandits, or Reinforcement Learning

-Deep Learning, NLP, or computer vision

• Experience with databases, distributed data, and data wrangling
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
