ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Hire, Inspire, Train, and Manage team of Business Development and Account Managers
• Provide team members with regular coaching/feedback to ensure engagement and maximize skills and potential.
• Develop and evaluate category KPIs that align with company objectives
• Develop and implement best practices, guidelines, and business strategies
• Partner closely with merchandising to align on category strategies and opportunities
• Lead and manage projects/programs to optimize and scale to deliver results
• Stay abreast of marketplace trends, new business, and competitive landscape
• Influence and collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver on key initiatives
• Support and lead negotiations and complex contract

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of work and experience
• 7+ years of experience in business development, partnership management or sales in retail industry preferred
• 3+ years recent and direct supervisory experience leading and developing a team
• Experience in hiring, training, and managing a team of 8+ people
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong networking skills/ability to form partnerships and create a collaborative environment
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Agility/ability to thrive in a demanding and changing environment
• Ecommerce experience preferred
