The role

SoFi is seeking a talented marketing leader to join the performance marketing team and help lead and manage our lifecycle marketing efforts. This leader will have a critical role on the performance marketing team reporting directly to the VP of Performance Marketing. You will manage and lead a team of LCM marketers & specialists to drive efficient growth, improve activation, and increase engagement across our suite of products. This role will have a wide variety of responsibilities that includes (but not limited to) email, SMS, mobile push, in-app/in-product, life stage segmentation, technology solutions and LCM attribution.

The right candidate has experience analyzing current performance data, the latest business needs/goals, data insights, and available resources, then creating and championing a clear, actionable strategic roadmap for the team. They will be passionate about lifecycle marketing and experienced in coaching a team to achieve aggressive goals. In addition, you will be a champion for member obsessed growth, driving cross-functional collaboration to achieve our OKRs.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a team in driving efficient growth, activation, and engagement through Email Marketing, SMS, Push Notifications, In-App Messaging, and other potential channels
  • Identify and develop channel and optimization strategies to meet both short term and long term goals
  • Drive activation rates, engagement rates, cross-buy rates and increasing member lifetime value through creative, messaging, targeting, and personalization strategies
  • Partner with the internal engineering team to build a world-class LCM tech stack that includes (but not limited to) CRM data, automation systems, self-serve reporting, audience modeling, and segmentation tools
  • Partner with the DS & Analytics team to conduct deep member behavioral analysis and segmentation
  • Responsible for staying close to the details and driving optimal optimization decisions throughout the team
  • Proactively collaborate with internal stakeholders and manage external vendors
  • Track, report and present performance with internal stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Be an inspirational leader of the Lifecycle Marketing team including hiring, developing, managing, coaching, and advocating for this team
  • Be a collaborative member of the leadership team, interweaving LCM into the organization's cross-functional planning workflows
  • Lead resource and capacity planning cross-functionally in a dynamic environment that's rapidly changing and expanding to new verticals
What You'll Need
  • 10+ years of experience developing and executing lifecycle marketing strategies that drive growth, activation, engagement efficiently
  • Experience managing a diverse team of lifecycle marketers, including experts in LCM strategy, operations, and technology
  • Able to drive overall marketing strategies from forecasting, channel planning, prioritization, campaign execution and optimization
  • Deep expertise in all aspects of LCM technology, including CRM solutions, CDP solutions, CEP solutions, reporting, and more
  • Exceptional organizational skills and accountability. Ability to oversee multiple work streams simultaneously and equally comfortable delegating or owning tasks, no matter how big or small.
  • Proven ability to work with data and quantitative skills - ability to work with large data sets in order to derive actionable plans
  • Excellent presentation skills among your team, peers and in executive settings
  • Effective communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders across the organization
  • Ability to work successfully in a quickly-changing environment; entrepreneurial spirit
