Job description
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager is responsible for leading and managing all talent acquisition and recruitment activities across Darigold's plants, warehouses, commercial fleet and headquarters. The TA Manager leads a multi-site team of talent acquisition partners to deliver recruiting and onboarding strategies to the business. The role partners closely with HR and Leadership in order to understand staffing needs and deliver effective sourcing campaigns and strategies to bring talent to Darigold.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities ( other duties may be assigned ):
- Responsible for the delivery of full-cycle recruiting activities and onboarding across the Darigold enterprise.
- Leads and develops a high performing team of talent acquisition partners - enabling them to do their best work and develop their talents to grow within the company.
- Partners with management and leadership to influence, identify and execute strategies to source and attract talents in alignment with business needs.
- Plays a hands on recruiting role, owning recruitment for key positions, including but not limited to leadership roles, retained searches and others where support is needed.
- Defines the talent acquisition process in order to deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
- Creates and Maintains SOPs and recruiting tools to enable team to recruit for top talent.
- Delivers on Darigold's AOP goals around talent acquisition, hiring and time to fill.
- Develops and maintains communication strategies and tools that share Darigold's vision, purpose and values as well as our total rewards package from the forefront of our recruiting process.
- Builds a TA Process that supports inclusive hiring, removes bias and actively seek out opportunities to increase our diversity representation and work with the business to i and to support our AAP.
- Trains & coaches HR Team and Mangers on best practices and market realities to enable effective interviewing, recruiting and onboarding of team members.
- Creates and Maintains SOPs and recruiting tools to enable team to recruit for top talent.
- Leads Darigold's Intern/Trainee program.
- Partners across HR Team & Shared Services functions to identify and shape talent strategies that meet market demands, including providing input on market compensation trends and job descriptions.
- Actively oversees the on-boarding process using the internal HRIS tool and ensuring a smooth and successful transition of each candidates into Darigold.
- Delivers effective strategies to attract talent through managing promotional activity, advertisements and managing online hiring platforms (Glassdoor, Indeed, LinkedIn). Coordinates with Talent Acquisition Team, Managers and HRBPs to determine appropriate investments and develop content for job advertising activities
- Owns and manages Darigold's applicant tracking system to include becoming an internal expert and first resource for other users.
- Track and report to HR & Darigold leadership regarding open positions and candidate pipeline in order to set priorities and deliver performance data.
- Draws insights & makes recommendations based on recruiting data and trends by leveraging HRIS reporting & analytics.
- Supports H1B and other visa or work permit requests in coordination with TA Lead.
- Oversees 3 rd party contracts and manages relationships for services supporting the TA Program including recruiting agencies, background check vendor and immigration attorney.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience and progressive responsibility Human Resources with direct experience leading or managing recruitment activities and /or teams.
- 5+ years experience in sourcing quality candidates for hourly and salaried roles.
- Experience delivering recruiting strategies in high growth or expansion environments preferred.
- Adept using Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Experience managing applicant tracking systems required, UKG preferred.
- PHR /SPHR, SHRM CP/SCP preferred

- Knowledgeable of laws and regulations related to recruitment activities.
