Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity open for an ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST with 3 years of industry experience primarily handling multiple sets of books.

In this role you can expect to be responsible for the following tasks:

· Daily preparation and maintenance of account data related account payables

· Process accounts payable, including input of information, review of coding, guarding against duplicate or delinquent payments.

· Track electronic approval status of accounts payable

· Process and cut accounts payable checks (Vendors and sub-contractors)

· Manage information required regarding vendor/consultant payment and history

· Manage subcontractor pre-liens

· Cash receipts, wire transfers, process 1099's and respond to ad-hoc requests

In this role the experience required/desired is as follows:

· Accounts Payable (with multiple sets of books) (Required)

· Knowledge of general ledger, accounts receivable (Required)

· Full charge bookkeeping exp a plus (Desired)

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Required)

· Construction Accounting software (Desired)

· Proven ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
