Job description

Assisted Living facility seeking to add a full-time Kitchen Lead to our team. Position involves not only preparation of meals but the ability to perform inventories, interacting with residents with special needs, and required documentation as part of meal service.

Monday through Friday: 10 am to 6 pm. Job starts at $15.25 but there is an immediate chance for growth as the individual takes over inventory and all kitchen duties. This would lead to a $2.00 an hour increase in pay.

Must be a US resident and Unified Care does not offer any paid relocation.

Required Skills/Duties:

- Knowledge of safe food handling/applicable

- Prepares meals/snacks for 16+ residents

- Keeps kitchen clean and inventory appropriately organized

- Utilizes critical thinking to complete inventory and place food orders

- Manages kitchen with planning and preparation for next meal service

- Interacts with residents to discuss meal choices, healthy alternatives, and answers questions

- Reads and follows written guidelines and documents as required

Experience:

- 1-year cooking experience required

- 1-year demonstrated ability to run basic kitchen operation including documentation required

- 1-year experience serving those with special needs desired

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.25 - $17.25 per hour
