We are urgently hiring a Human Resources/Payroll Assistant for our Spokane Office.

You will provide much needed administrative support for the Regional HR Manager in Spokane Reports:

  • Responsible for accurate administration and maintenance of all personal records associated with UltiPro Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and Ultimate Time and Attendance timekeeping system.

Assist Regional HR Manager in accurate and confidential record keeping associated. This position comes with fantastic benefits. Your responsibilities will fall into 3 buckets:

Records
  • with the applicant process (ADP Recruiting & Onboarding).
  • Maintain accurate and confidential human resource files, including personnel, benefits, medical, and payroll files.
  • Process invoices for payment.
  • Assist in compiling, submitting, and maintaining affirmative action plans and other government required reports and ensure yearly compliance requirements are accomplished.
  • Act as the primary contact for 3rdparty vendors- background check provider, job posting and applicant tracking systems, and external recruiting websites.

Payroll
  • Provide timely and accurate administration of the hourly and salaried payroll for WA and ID Timberlands.
  • Process New hires and terminations.

Staffing/Labor Relations
  • Assist Regional HR Manager with activities associated with maintaining a qualified workforce, such as recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and orientation of new employees.
  • Provide support to the Regional HR Manager on labor relations issues as requested.
  • Serve as point of contact for the ADP Recruiting and Onboarding system.

To qualify for this role:
  • Two years experience in Human Resources or related administrative roles
  • Intermediate proficiency in use of personal computers including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Detail oriented and about to process confidential information in a discreet manner.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and complete multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision.
  • Effectively can work in a lean organization
  • Must be willing to work onsite.
  • Minimum Education an Associate Degree
