Trimlite is a leading manufacturer and distributor of interior and exterior doors and door glass. Trimlite is looking for a General Laborer. This person will be responsible for all activities related to production and assembly of our products. As a General Laborer you will work in a team setting and duties may vary from operating machinery, assembling materials or equipment, carrying our inspections and quality control.

To be successful as a Production Worker you should be able to work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy. An outstanding Production Worker should be able to maintain production standards and work towards improving productivity without compromising quality.

Job Requirements:

• Following health and safety standards.

• Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor.

• Assembling products and parts.

• Following production guidelines and specifications.

• Finalizing and packaging products for shipment.

• Operating and maintaining machinery and production line equipment.

• Monitoring the assembly line and removing faulty products.

• Working on the production line and meeting production targets.

• Reporting any issues to the supervisor on duty.

• Performing other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company products and terminology.

• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.

• Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma/GED.

• Previous experience working in a warehouse setting

• Experience operating manufacturing machinery.

• Able to work as part of a team.

• Basic math skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

• Ability to move around the warehouse.
