Great Food. More Selection. US Foods Direct is the industry's first endless aisle, greatly expanding our existing e-commerce product assortment, adding tens of thousands of new products over a variety of specialty categories, and shipping directly to customers.
The Senior IT Business Analyst for US Foods Direct is responsible for working with our business partners to define areas of functional need and translate those needs into actionable project requirements. This role will require both technical and business acumen to drive innovative technology solutions.
This position is blended which means you will be onsite in the US Foods Corporate Support Office in Rosemont, Illinois at least 8 days a month. For the remainder of the time, work can be completed remotely.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead analyses for business partners to enhance goals of the US Foods Direct program. Analysis includes gathering and organize business requirements; translating requirements into actionable IT JIRA stories; and execution and inclusion into project deliverables
- Identify and develop functional requirements for US Foods Direct to support strategic direction defined by business partners
- Identify and implement opportunities to standardize and optimize processes through analytics, automation, and enhanced tools
- Develop and refine core best practices to enhance the IT transformation of US Foods Direct
- Become a subject matter expert on US Foods Direct business and IT processes and tools
- Collaborate with business function(s) to address project needs (e.g., actively participate in functional meetings and cross-functional project planning meetings)
- Provide input into and feedback of testing scripts. Facilitate and actively participate in acceptance (UAT) and production readiness testing. Analyze test results to support resolution
- Create business process documentation and drive streamlining and simplifying of cross-functional documentation to make it easy to find and use
- Work alongside senior US Foods Direct IT management and the business stakeholders to develop specific IT strategy and road maps
- Facilitate working sessions to deliver new feature processes and workflows. Translate business needs into actionable technology requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
Related Experience:
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated successful experience in IT Business Analyst roles required.
- Experience with eCommerce or Retail solutions incorporating Direct Shipping of products a plus.

- Proficiency in the following required: MS Teams and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Familiarity in the following is highly desired: Agile project/product management concepts and tools (JIRA experience a plus); Standard flowcharting tools such as Visio or Lucidchart; Data querying methodologies and languages (e.g., SQL); and Cloud tools and concepts including Snowflake and AWS
