Currently seeking an experienced Operations and Property Manager seeking an opportunity to take their expertise and contribute to a rapidly growing non-profit who has set out on an amazing mission to generate social and economic value to rural American regions. Headquartered in Miami, we are working with senior-leadership to identify a strong Operations and Property Management professional to manage a team of 6+ facility and property managers, while contributing strategically to business development and acquisition of additional property. The properties the organization purchases and manages range from commercial, warehousing and residential, so we are seeking a dynamic professional who can contribute related knowledge, while still being open to learning additional industry responsibilities and compliance measures. As the Operations and Property Manager, you will be the primary officer representing the Corporation on location of West Virginia right outside of Front Royal and Stephen's City VA. Strong management skills will be required to successfully organize and oversee individual department directors and their respective programming intent and goals. Focused responsibilities will be initiated in a tiered approach. The initial 6 months of employment will be focused on familiarizing oneself with the properties and instituting management structure and practices. Additional responsibilities in the realms of Planning and Community Outreach will be introduced on an evaluated level within the first .5-1.25 years of employment. Integrated within these responsibilities, this position must maintain the ability to be the most flexible and versatile personnel in the organization and perform any role that is essential to the ultimate successful operation of the Corporation and it's programming.

• 5+ years in Property Management and Business Operations (warehouse, commercial, residential or affordable housing)
• 3+ years experience management; preferably managing property, warehouse or facility team leads or managers
• Firm Knowledge of computer hardware and software programs, which may include Microsoft Office, and Internet applications.
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of planning
• Knowledge of a relevant specialization such as transportation, land use, or affordable housing is desired
• Knowledge of principles and practices of research and data collection
• Oral communication and interpersonal skills to explain rules and procedures clearly to the public
• Creative problem-solving skills to gather relevant information to solve vaguely defined practical problems
• Ability to review plans and apply provisions of the ordinances and codes to determine compliance with such regulations and to apply regulations to field conditions
• Ability to create graphic designs, development strategies, and render site plans via sketches and/or computer graphics highly desirable
• Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment as needed
• Ability to attend to details while keeping big-picture goals in mind
