Job description

Essential Duties

* Responsible for sourcing candidates, evaluating resumes/applications, routing applications/resumes to appropriate hiring managers for full-time, part-time, seasonal and volunteer positions

* Write and post job descriptions on career websites, school job boards, and other sources; maintain job postings and measure effectiveness

* Create and coordinate recruitment advertisements with marketing department for placement in appropriate media

* Maintain current sources and develop new sources of recruitment/network opportunities; attend job/career fairs, on-site presentations, utilize talent acquisition technology to source candidates, generate new recruitment techniques and implement new strategies to generate application flow

* Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, schools/colleges, recruitment agencies, media and internet sites

* Manage employment requisitions and ensure appropriate signatures for processing

* Manage applications/resumes in HRIS

* Maintain reporting on recruiting, hiring and volunteer process

* Ensures pre-employment screenings and reference verifications completed

* Schedule selected applicants for orientation

* Engages in compliant hiring practices in a friendly and professional manner; provide support to walk-in, electronic and telephone candidates

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from college or university; one to two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Human Resources management experience preferred
* Excellent computer skills, Excel &Word
* Must be highly organized and detail oriented
* Requires a valid driver's license
* Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds
