Job description
Asher Lasting Exteriors has been the leader in exterior home remodeling for over 45 years in the Chippewa Valley. We represent premium brands in each respective product segment such as Renewal by Andersen Windows, Pro Via Entry Doors, Gutter Helmet, and Sunesta Retractable Awnings.
We are currently looking to hire an experienced Sales Manager to support our continued growth and become part of the Asher leadership team.
As part of this role, you will spend time training and working as a Sales Consultant in our Gutter/Gutter Helmet division prior to transitioning to the Sales Manager role. The Sales Manager will oversee all divisions of product sales.
Key Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:
- Recruit, hire, and train all Sales Reps to meet the needs of lead production. Train in accordance with company sales strategy and best practices.
- Become a servant leader for entire team by supporting their efforts while on appointments and helping them scale out projects that require extra attention.
- Ensure proper use of demo products and other supporting materials.
- Create all documents necessary for optimal sales performance; conduct weekly sales meetings.
- Review, monitor, and coach each individual to their full potential by conducting ride alongs, quarterly reviews, and analyzing each individual's performance metrics
- Create performance plans that outline clearly defined goals for each Rep. Identify a plan for achievement with each Rep.
- Monitor and review surveys returned from customers. Communicate with the respective Reps on this feedback, good or bad, and conduct follow up calls to homeowners needing more attention.
- Lead team in understanding and utilizing all resources available including but not limited to product samples, new product innovations, technology enhancements, and procedural changes required for a more controlled output.
- Lead all efforts to help bring cohesiveness amongst all departments by aligning Sales with Marketing, Operations, and Production departments.
- Develop an expert level understanding of all products and sales process info required; attend offsite meetings and training as necessary.
- Run leads when necessary and meet sales performance expectations.
- Attend home shows, internal/external lead generation events, and help manage showroom hours when necessary.
- Visit job sites to ensure complete homeowner satisfaction.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of progressive sales management experience
- Demonstrated success record in sales and team development
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Highly motivated, self-directed, attention to detail, and customer oriented
