Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinates with management and completes Annual budgets and Quarterly forecast
• Prepare and Present Budget/Forecast Presentations to Management
• Prepare monthly analysis of actual results against prior year and budget, providing detailed explanations and business solutions to help achieve financial goals
• Support senior management in investigating and analyzing financial and operational data
• Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets/forecast
• Serve as primary contact in company projects between UnitedHealthOne and other areas of the company
• Work with operational areas to develop, implement and maintain processes and procedures for accurate and timely analysis of financial data
• Develop and maintain internal control structure and procedures for financial reporting
• Support various special projects as required

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance or Analytics
• Demonstrated experience in a similar FP&A (budgeting & forecasting) role
• Demonstrated experience with month end close and financial reporting
• Intermediate level of working knowledge of GAAP; ability to effectively use analytical knowledge to collaborate with varying levels of employees and senior management to drive sound business decisions
• Advanced Excel skills, ability to work with lookups and pivot tables
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and other financial reporting tools
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated advanced analytical and information gathering skills; ability to evaluate and prioritize extensive detailed data
• Demonstrated experience successfully managing multiple requests, assessing priorities and achieving solutions under deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Actuarial Science
• CPA, MBA or Actuarial designation
• Experience in healthcare insurance industry
• Supervisory experience
• Experience with Essbase
• Experience with operations

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary/hourly range for Colorado residents is $94,500 to $171,700. The salary/hourly range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $94,500 to $171,700.
