Location: Madison WI.
Currently Remote. Move to hybrid effective Q2 of 2022
Contract Length: 6/30/2022, with the potential to extend for additional terms to 6/30/2023.

Note: This position is remote initially due to COVID but will be onsite after it is deemed safe to return.
Detailed Job Description:
In need for one Business Analyst/Consultant IV who will be responsible with developing project artifacts, preparing written reports, and executive briefings on high-profile projects that support the DCF services provided to children and families.
This position requires an individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as, have an ability to work with minimal direction and oversight. Individual in this role must have a strong background in creating project artifacts and working on business area projects. The ability to think critically and problem solve are essential.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Business analyst functions across all assigned projects, including oversight and completion of assigned project artifacts.
• Leading external & internal stakeholder engagement when gathering information for project artifact creation, such as business process discussions.
• Creation of project artifact templates to be utilized by the business Project Management Office staff to ensure standardization across projects.
Summarized qualifications for this position:
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standards, current and emerging technologies, and business process mapping and reengineering. Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Develops RFPs.
Experience in the field or in a related area. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Independently, performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
