Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Recruiter - Contingent Staff is responsible for recruitment, and placement of contingent staff: screening, pre-credentialing/licensing requirements, background checks, decision making and negotiating contract rates, and agency relationship management. The Recruiter - Contingent Staff partners with Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) leaders to advise and consult in the areas of recruitment for contingent staff, employment practices and keeps managers informed of governmental laws and updates pertaining to employment practices.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: One of the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and five years' relevant Human Resources experience.
  • Associate degree in business administration, human resources, health care administration or a technical field related to the position and three years' relevant Human Resources experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, health care administration or related degree and two years' relevant Human Resources experience.


Preferred/Optional: Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, health care administration or related degree and two years' relevant Human Resources experience.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required: None.

Preferred/Optional: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) awarded by the HR Certification Institute or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) awarded by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
