Adecco is currently assisting a local client in Peshtigo, WI recruiting for a Machinist position. This is a 1 st shift opportunity (6AM-2:30PM) with possible overtime required. This position has a starting pay of $19.00 per hour! The Machinist produces machine parts by programming, assembling, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) or manual machine (Lathes, Mills, Grinders, and other specialized CNC and manual machines). Responsibilities:

Produces machined components using CNC or manual machines

Must be able to accurately read blueprints and comprehend standard operating procedures

Ability to saw material

Set up tools and fixtures and adjust/operate machine controls

Perform cleaning, organizing, and preventative maintenance

Inspect/measure and locate product key characteristics using caliper, micrometer, and pin gages

Use of gages and height stand

Requirements:

Ability to run multiple machines

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Must be able to work in a standing position up to 10 hours per day

HS diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required
