The Senior Product Design Engineer is a driven, talented, experienced Engineer with an extensive design background. This individual will be the lead Design Engineer for Filter Products with ultimate design authority for Saint-Gobain Filtration Products and responsibility for design integrity during product transfers, existing product optimization, and new product design. This is a key role in the further development of this successful product line. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Biomedical/Plastics Engineering or equivalent program Minimum 6+ years in product design; microporous filter device design strongly preferred Experience with plastics injection molding and interfacing with injection molding component suppliers to develop a new mold and validate the component part into the product. Experience in interpreting customer and application/market requirements and translating to product design requirements and specifications. New Product introduction experience Experience using FEA to support design process Specific experience with membrane filter design preferred Must be able to travel 25% to manufacturing plants Company SummarySaint-Gobain's innovations touch almost every major industry around the world.
