Overview:

St. Croix Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a 1.0 FTE Laboratory Assistant to work days and evenings with rotating weekends and holidays. This position is eligible for a $2000 sign-on bonus!!

The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for obtaining and preparing specimens for analysis and performing various screening tests. Performs holter and event monitor, breath alcohol testing and drug screen collection responsibilities. Perform laboratory duties with minimal supervision to care for a diverse population of patients of all ages.

Qualifications of the Laboratory Assistant:

Education & Licensure:

* High school graduate
* Certified Phlebotomist or Certified Medical Assistant with phlebotomy training, preferred.

Experience:

* Previous phlebotomy experience preferred but not required.
