GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
Within the Spare Parts & Attachments Business Unit, the ERP Data Specialist will work with the various engineering and technical teams of the group to populate and maintain data in the the spare parts & attachments database, make it usable and create necessary reporting tools. This position has functional reporting to the Spare & Attachments Sourcing Manager based in France & operational reporting to local spare parts supply chain & sourcing manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage component (spare parts & attachments) data and attributes (replaced by, backward compatibility, disposition, etc…) for the Group in North America.
Manage and report all the component lifecycle data (creation, replacement, end of life) by product lines & machine type thanks to reliable processes.
Insure the management, the support and the evolution of the components and of tables configuration models.
Create components in the Product Life Cycle Management tool (components, subcomponents and kits).
Fulfill all mandatory component information (supplier, HS Codes, designation, depot…).
Populate actual manufacturer information of P/Ns in the company systems for domestic and imported product lines P/Ns.
Lead spare parts Initial warehouse order technical scope definition and continuous improvement.
Propose continuous improvement on the update/control tools.
Support and execute the rationalization and harmonization of the Group components/ commodity groups.
Monitor and audit all anomalies in the interfaces between the different system and data set and propose appropriate corrective action. Insure the reliability of the data shared and created by the engineering, pre-project, technical documentation departments.
Communicate strongly with counterparts all over the world to align data, processes and good practices.
Drive alignment with Worldwide Manitou Group Distribution centers on parts status (active / use until exhausted / obsolete).
Update the database with documentation and drawings received from sourcing, marketing, engineering teams.
Team representative for the North American component technical information database.
Represent the team during the North American Quality / field improvement plan committee.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
College degree or a demonstrated vocational and/or technical experience in the industry.
Ability to multi-task and handle several projects efficiently.
Proficient in oral and written communication with the ability to present to a group.
Understanding of IT Database structure is preferred.
4 Years minimum of experience in the industry working with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain is required.
ERP experience is preferred.
Proficient with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office software.
