We want to build a team of champions. That's why Wavin is currently looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Hazlehead site in Sheffield. If you want to make a difference and work for a purpose-led company, please read on.

The role
Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will work at our Hazlehead site on a continental shift pattern 4 days on and 4 days off working 12 hour days and 12 hour nights. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance activities in line with equipment and schedule attainment taking into consideration any legal requirements. You will also be supporting shift engineers to maintain plant and equipment, customer service and required OEE.

Responsibilities
* To operate in line with all Wavin H&S standards and embrace and contribute to the Wavin ISRS Safety Programme
* Implement and adhere to safe working practices in accordance with legislation
* To advise and assist the Production Team to ensure that all products are made to the highest possible yield and product quality standards
* To ensure that the efficiency of the process is maintained at all times
* To undertake electrical engineering activities and assist in planned, unplanned and improvement work
* To participate in all training programs including the training of others
* Drive continuous improvement across site
* Be involved with project work as and when required

Profile
* A minimum ONC Electrical qualification or equivalent, a HNC Electrical qualification is desirable
* Proficient working with single and three phase supply, AC/DC motors and control systems
* A time served multi-skilled electrical engineer with a strong technical and electrical knowledge in automated assembly systems
* The ability to work with pneumatic controls and read electrical and pneumatic schematic drawings, 24v to 415v circuits and controls etc
