Job description

Activate Learning are a forward thinking, successful education group whose mission is to provide opportunities for learning with a focus on students gaining the skills and attributes they need to progress on to employment or higher education, transforming lives through our learning philosophy.

We are now looking for a highly motivated individuals with or without coaching experience to facilitate focused personal development sessions. Core to this role will be the provision of 1-1 and group coaching to provide individualised support and targeted interventions to a caseload of students relating to their personal development, their learning and their careers to enable them to progress to the next level of learning or employment whilst keeping them engaged to achieve.

We currently have a permanent, part time opportunity (0.8FTE) available at our Bracknell campus, ideally working 30 hours over 4 days a week, but there may be some flexibility in this for the right candidate. What do you need to be successful in this role?

You will have some experience of working with teenagers or young adults within a school/youth work/college or relevant environment. A degree in social sciences would provide a distinct advantage but is not essential. Your communication and interpersonal skills will be outstanding and support your ability to deliver coaching sessions as well as inspirational group sessions to a diverse range of learners.
