Job description

Our client are a leading manufacturer, supplier and installers of acoustic blinds, curtains and window shading solutions into the commercial fit out and refurbishment construction sectors. Their solutions address design and mechanical requirements, aesthetics and user preferences utilising blinds, curtains and control systems typically for high end / high profile commercial offices in and around London.

Their team is seeking an organised, proactive, and efficient estimator who will be responsible for activities related to the estimating and specification of commercial window shading.

Key Accountabilities

• Understanding scope requirements / specification
• Research materials, equipment, and labour costs
• Gather and manage quotes from suppliers.
• Calculate, review and evaluate cost estimates.
• Assessing level of risk on a project
• Drawing take-offs and RFIs
• Preparing and submitting quotations/tender bids to deadline
• Follow the internal process for project identification and tracking via CRM software.

Communication & relationships

Promotes and maintains constructive and positive working relationships with colleagues in other functions so that there is a clear, consistent, and accurate flow of information around the business relating to potential sales.

This role would suit someone that comes from either an estimating or finance background.
