You'll use your attention to detail and dependable approach to operate our water supply processes at our production sites. This includes our site at Bray-Keleher, a strategic location that has recently undergone a multimillion pound expansion. You'll protect our production processes so that the water we supply always meets the highest standards.You'll either be experienced in water production or water treatment processes along with a mechanical background. This will enable you to monitor, control, check and maintain the procedures that ensures our production sites are run reliably and efficiently. In this role, you could be monitoring the use of chemicals during the treatment process; recording operational data; maintaining site records or updating work management systems. Therefore, you're someone who knows how to prioritise tasks and stays alert to changing situations.There is a requirement to travel across the supply area to different production sites, reservoirs and operational sites as needed. We provide a company vehicle for your travel. You'll just need a clean driver's licence. You'll work 37 hours per week (7.00am to 7.00pm, Monday to Friday). As we provide an essential service, we sometimes need you to be on standby to respond to incidents out of hours and at weekends. In return, you'll receive an additional standby allowance (c. £2,000 per annum). And, we're investing £433 million into new resources and innovations during 2.What you'll deliverYou will be responsible for the monitoring, controlling, checking and maintenance of water treatment process at water production sites.You'll control and monitor correct use of chemicals within the treatment processes, including receipt and deliveryYou will be willing to take part in a standby roster providing out of hours support to the operational area.You'll assist other members of the Production team with Confined Space Entry, where 3 or more bodies are required to complete a job.
