We're seeking a talented full-stack development lead to build the foundations and features of our m.e Cloud Hub 2.0. We were shocked to discover that up to 50% of 'small power' in commercial buildings can be classified as waste - meaning that globally, there is 20% total energy waste in a sector that, unlike heating and lighting, hasn't any meaningful control or measurement. Given the increasing urgency of the climate crisis, frankly, this is embarrassingly unacceptable.
• Our experience in the sustainability sector has also shown a disappointing prevalence of solutions that simply estimate waste and provide reports for PR teams to spin . We started m.e specifically to make direct impact. If you have a data-driven idea that you believe can make a difference, we can deploy and test your idea in the real world, using real energy and real data instantly. Our system actually does the most important aspect of energy saving - turning things off, not suggesting what to turn off or when, but actually doing it, then measuring the benefit.

About the role:

m.e are looking for a talented full-stack development lead to build out further features, refactor and maintain elements of our m.e Hub. The m.e Hub is the front end of the m.e Platform; a Machine-Learning driven IoT infrastructure to detect and eliminate wasted 'small power' energy (power used through socket and fused spurs) in commercial buildings. The front end is a browser-based application, mobile app and API that enables our clients to set up, manage, view and configure their m.e Platform devices, reports and controls. As the primary contact point for our clients, the application needs to be designed with our client's pain points in mind at all times.

The role involves:

• Designing and refactoring the m.e cloud hub website to 2.0, from our specifications
• Develop the m.e cloud hub partner app, integrating all of our specified features
• Developing and refactoring the m.e Cloud API for integration to 3rd party systems and BMS Software solutions
• Contributing to design ideas and guiding hub development
• Contributing to the technical vision of m.e
