Job Overview: Our client, a successful calibration & measurement Laboratory are seeking a Pyrometry Temperature Calibration Engineer to join their existing team.

Role:

* This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for someone to join a highly respected calibration laboratory.

* The role of Pyrometry Temperature Calibration Engineer will suit an ambitious individual with good knowledge of temperature calibrations processes and an understanding of electronic/software systems.

* The position will allow an individual to use their experiences, skills and develop their passion for measurement and instrumentation. Working within a large technical scope spanning on-site and laboratory-based work.

* The company have an impressive customer base and operate a technically advanced calibration laboratory with niche equipment.

Required experience/characteristics:

* Plan and perform instrumentation calibrations and measurements in accordance with procedures, instructions, and specifications

* Experience and a very good understanding of AMS2750F

* Plan and perform instrumentation calibrations and System Accuracy Tests and Temperature Uniformity Surveys in accordance with AMS2750F

* Investigate calibration related non-conformances

* Maintain relevant records, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner

* Assist with the planning of customer calibrations activity

* Be able to maintain and service ovens to include controller replacement.

Skills & Attributes required:

* Ideally completed a relevant apprenticeship.

* Must have previous experience in a business with calibration / metrology processes.

* Must be PC literate.

* Organised and be able to work with minimum of supervision.

* Ability to communicate to all levels of personnel

* Hold a full driving license.
