Key Account Manager - WD

What you will do

Due to expansion of our service and maintenance key accounts team a fantastic opportunity has become available to join Johnson Controls as Key Account Manager. You will be responsible for handling key facilities management partners to strengthen and secure contracts for the portfolio of JCI service solutions including fire and security, HVAC, BMS and OpenBlue throughout a defined geographical territory. You will lead the sales cycle with existing key accounts and proactively seeking out new customers with a focus on facilities management companies in order to gain new business and increase in wallet-share.

How you will do it

To be successful as Key Account Manager you will identify the best accounts to target for growth as well as having the opportunity to build relationships through careful planning, business development activity and engagement with internal partners. You will create opportunities to bid on service contracts and present technical information to board level. You will manage leads and drive sales performance using Salesforce.

Qualifications

What we look for

Required

Experience in a key account manager or business development function developing service contract tenders.
Experience of dealing with facilities management companies.
Ability to function independently.
Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to use resources and engage operational departments to ensure high levels of customer service.
Ability to develop and expand relationships through an organisation.
This is a field based role so a full UK driving license is crucial.

Preferred

We'd ideally love you to have experience/knowledge of Hard FM, fire and security, HVAC, BMS or similar service offering along with ability to use Salesforce. Though our world-leading team can offer training and support in these areas.
