Our solutions meet current market trends by constantly thinking outside the box - in order to provide state-of-the-art "fit for need" solutions.Job DescriptionOverviewThe Business Development Executive's main priority is to assist the business to acquire new customers. The role, in conjunction with the Sales Director will develop a strategy to target key market sectors areas, taking into account market trends and the businesses PACCOR's wider resources, to fully utilise the its businesses capacity to increase sales.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop a sales plan to include new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and servicesGenerate leads and cold call prospective customers in order to develop a sales pipeline for the businessArrange meetings with prospective customers/clientsNegotiate pricingCarry out sales forecasts and analysis, presenting the findings to the wider management teamUnderstand the needs of our customers and be able to respond effectively, to include a plan of how to meet requirementsDraw up client contracts in line with the businesses legal support teamEnsure wider workforce buy-in when seeking to implement new products/ways of workingLiaise with the Finance team and Supply Chain as appropriate, ensure processes are followed and continuous improvement is applied to ways of workingDiscuss promotional strategy and activities with the Group marketing departmentAid in the development of sales campaignsQualificationsProfessional QualificationsGood general standard of educationExperienceProven new business sales track record in the packaging industryExperience of selling into food processing and food retail marketsDemonstrable experience of selling similar products within a food manufacturing environmentSound commercial acumen with financial appreciation of costings and pricingAn understanding of thermoformed packagingProven ability in sales negotiation skillsA self-starter who is versatile and flexible to new situations and able to work under pressure to high standards and expectations to meet tight deadlinesCompetent with Microsoft Office packagesFull UK driving licenceAdditional InformationWorking at PACCOR means working in an innovative and open-minded company that increases the commitment and motivation of all employees.
