Head Teachers PA needed for West Cheshire Secondary School.

Your new company
Hays Education are currently working with a secondary school based in West Cheshire LA looking to cover the maternity leave of the Head Teacher's PA. The post will start in September 2021 and run through to July 2022.

Your new role
Working closely with the Head Teacher and SLT, this role involves providing administrative and organisational support so they can spend their time concentrating on management and ensuring the school meets its targets. You will be instrumental in upholding the school values, and working between the SLT and staff, pupils, families and other people\/ agencies affiliated with the school.

Day to day duties include:

* Dairy management and coordination
* Organising documentation needed for meetings
* Minute taking and distribution
* Meeting and greeting visitors
* Managing pupil data using SIMS and Excel
* Handling queries in a professional and confidential manner
* Be aware and adhere to the schools data protection and safeguarding policies

What you'll need to succeed
Prior experience of working in a school role would be a massive advantage for this role due to the level of school system knowledge required. Strong ICT skills particularly with Excel and producing letters would also be advantageous.

You will be highly organised and professional with strong written and verbal communication skills.

You will be able to work independently and prioritise tasks within a busy office environment.
