Teaching Assistant's required. West Cheshire and Chester. January 2022.

Your new company
Hays Education are currently working with a large number of primary schools across the West Cheshire and Chester area as they require long term supply and day to day cover after the Christmas period.

Your new role
Here at Hays Education we understand that you may have prior commitments, due to this we can offer you flexible working options in your area for both long term and day to day cover to fit around your schedule. As a Teaching Assistant in a primary school, you will be working with children aged between 4-11. You will under the instruction of the class Teacher, supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis in core subjects as required. You will assist with the class Teacher with general classroom and behaviour manager whilst offering a safe and inclusive learning environment.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the role you will need:

* A minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
* Recent referenceable experience working with children (minimum 40 days in the last 2 years)
* A calm and friendly demeanour
* Excellent people skills as to build constructive relations with staff and pupils
