Rullion are working exclusively with a fantastic globally recognised client with over 150 years of specialist knowledge who are on a journey of growth and development. They are looking for a Site Electrical Engineer to join the team and aid in the regeneration and progression of their historic site based in Cheshire.
They are looking to appoint a Site Electrical Engineer to provide Technical Authority for Electrical Design and Installations, manage site wide Building Management & Electrical Control Systems and provide input and insight into Control & Electrical Design activities. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
*Assume the role of Technical Authority for Control and Electrical systems in the relevant area of responsibility (includes testing, fault finding and remedial works on relevant Control and Electrical systems).
*Provide specialist Control and Electrical input into maintenance activities including first line fault diagnosis and the coordination of remedial actions. Collect and analyse data to identify problem issues and present reports recommending action.
*Liaise with Engineers, Production and other departments, as required, to identify improvements and modifications to site Control and Electrical systems. Lead the design process for new Control, Electrical systems and improvement works.
*Work with internal and external resource to manage and implement changes to site infrastructure and control systems.
*Undertake the role of Site Electrical Engineer and liaise with external supply authority as required.
*Provide recommendations to the Head of Engineering for potential expenditure to be included in the capital budget.
*Carry out research to identify new statutory requirements, or potential improvement opportunities, and to source new and replacement systems. Liaise with external suppliers and contractors to develop these systems.
*Manage the implementation of selected capital projects.
*Contribute to the Control and Electrical design process for machine safety.
*Lead control and Electrical input into machine risk assessments and HAZOP studies.
*Use of CMMS system to manage maintenance activities and statutory inspections.
*Undertake all activities in line with company Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures, inclusive of the mandatory wearing of PPE, and participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace.

Required Skills & Experience
*Engineering Degree or relevant experience
*Incorporated Engineer Status
*Demonstrable and significant proven experience in a production engineering environment.
*Significant experience in fault finding in control systems.
*Proven technical competence and an ability to understand complex electrical systems.
*Proven knowledge and experience of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Supervisory Control.
*Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel.
