Security Escort, HMP Leyhill, 2 weeks work, 12 hr shifts, Days and Nights

HMP Leyhill is a category D adult male open prison based in Wotton-under-edge.

Your new role
We have an exciting opportunity available as a OSG escort working within the Prison Service. You will be working as part of the security team. As part of the operational security team, your duties will include assisting\/ escorting the contractors as they carry out maintenance and ongoing project developments at the prison, searching visitors and contractors, tool checks etc\u2026 This role is a full time, for 2 weeks starting the beginning of August, 12 hour shifts mon to fri including some nights. \u00A312.48-\u00A314.98 per hour inclusive of holiday dependant on day or night shift.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need no formal qualifications. However, you will need to be security conscious, level headed and have exceptional interpersonal skills. You will also have good ability to work as a team to achieve goals. You must hold a Valid Passport or Birth Certificate & Photo Driving Licence in your current address. All applicants must be able to provide details of 2 satisfactory references, at least one from an ex-employer and are subject to full prison clearance and a BPSS.
