Job title: Fettler

Location: Cheltenham, commutable from Gloucester, Stonehouse, Stroud, Tewkesbury, Worcester, Malvern, and surrounding areas

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm

Salary: £12.00 - £13.00 per hour as a guide and we're happy to discuss your salary expectations to meet your requirements.

Joining the company finishing team to take on the very important role of completing components before they go out to the customer, your technical skills and experience coupled with your eye for detail and careful attitude will make sure that products of the highest quality are delivered to customers every time.

Role and Responsibilities for this Fettler position

Fettling, grinding and polishing of both small stainless-steel parts and thin gauge tubes.
Dressing Fillet and Butt welds.
Maintaining a clean and organised department.
Work in accordance with company processes and procedures.
Meeting production demands and targets.
Knowledge and Experience needed for this Fettler position

Experience of working as a Fettler, Metal finisher, Grinder or Polisher
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
Skilled in working to fine tolerances and measurements.
Experience of dressing welds.
Knowledge and understanding of how to use deburring hand tools.
