Job Title: CNC Laser Machine Operator
Shifts: Days 39 hours per week, early finish every Friday
Job status: permanent
Salary: £22,000 - £23,500 + very good benefits package + overtime available
Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire

CNC Laser Machine Operator
A brand new vacancy has been created with a local precision engineering company for a CNC Laser Cutting Machine Operator to join the small department on a permanent basis as the business continues to grow.

The company have been supplying specialist precision engineered components to aerospace, oil & gas, motorsport and general industry for many years from their modern facility in Tewkesbury, which is commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Worcester and surrounding areas.

This job will involve you operating CNC laser cutting machines, operating CNC grinding machines and operating presses to produce high quality metal component parts.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will already have experience of either operating CNC laser cutting or operating CNC grinding machinery in a precision engineering environment such as aerospace, oil & gas, automotive or similar. You will be keen to learn to set and perhaps program these machines in the future too.

This job will suit a conscientious team player with an eye for detail and keenness for producing very high quality components for the customers.

Skills/Experience needed

Experience of operating CNC laser cutting machines or CNC grinding machines
Willing and capable of learning to set laser cutting machines and grinding machines
