ART GALLERY SALES ASSISTANT

McKay Williamsonis a pioneering Art Gallery and Creative Agency making an impact on the art world.

Were looking for aGALLERY SALES ASSISTANTto assist our Art Advisors.

This is a permanent role with the expectation you will train to become an Art Advisor, and ideally the start of a long-term career.

You will have the following skills:

Art Knowledge- you will exude a love of art, its history, techniques and movements.
People Skills you will be comfortable with HNWIs, and have the presence to recommend ideas with charisma.
Business Skills you will be intelligent and great at problem-solving, and have a working knowledge of various MS Office and Adobe software packages.

Creativity, Imagination and Flairobvs
Enthusiasm we have a fun studio, no jobsworths!
Ambition- a desire to grow and develop new skills.
Good Communications Skills both written and verbal.

The Team and Environment:

Were a strong, energetic team, based in Notting Hill, and we enjoy regular team outings. The role will start full-time at the studio;
with increased tenure there will be increased flexibility for working remotely.

Summary.

Salary -24-30k, based on experience.

Location West London.

Industry Creative Media, Digital Media, Media, Arts, Design

Experience level Experienced (previous experience working at a gallery, with luxury brands and\/or high net worth individuals valued)

Hours Full time

Remote Working no remotefor the first 6 months.

You Daily Responsibilities.We believe in working with the strengths of every employee - we hire attitude over aptitude - so these may be amended \/ expanded \/ contracted to ensure we have the right team.

Arts Database- you will manage some of the liaison with our dozens of artists and partner galleries, and ensure our database of available works is kept up to date.

Art Advisories- you will review specifications from clients, and populate an initial portfolio of suggestion for initial review by an Art Advisor.
Client Visits- you will attend client homes with an Art Advisor;
ideally you will have a full UK Drivers license.

Client Calls- you will call both prospects andclients to arrange appointments for an Art Advisor to show ideas.
Online Sales- you will manage the packing, tracking and delivery of online sales, updating inventory.
