DescriptionAbout this role. Your team: You will join the ETF and Index Investment (EII) EMEA Product Engineering team which is part of the EII Global Engine. The EII Global Engine mission is to drive investment quality and scale across the index platform, lead the modernization of the indexing industry and to drive solutions and innovation for indexing clients. The Product Engineering team consists of three groups which covers: Product Architecture, Product Integrity and Product Delivery. You will become a member of the Product Delivery team whose primary responsibility is to launch new products and enhance existing products across the Irish, German and Swiss ETF ranges. Your role and impact: You will be responsible for the build and launch of new products as well as being responsible for the implementation of product enhancements for the existing fund range that meet the commercial goals of EII and enhance the financial well-being of our clients. This is an opportunity to join an exciting segment within the asset management industry. This role will enhance iShares' capability to launch new, and in some cases, complex products. Enhancements post-launch are intended to maintain the high quality of our products in evolving markets and to ensure that the range offers solutions to the changing needs of clients. Your responsibilities: Lead on all aspects of the product build for the development and launch of new iShares products, including the registration and cross listing of new iShares products. Lead on all aspects of the product enhancement process for existing iShares products. Develop close links with other businesses and teams which form part of the build process to ensure timely and effective product delivery. Ensure appropriate transferal of product information to other teams within PrE and the iShares business as part of the implementation process. Actively contribute to the identification and implementation of improvements to the way in which new product is developed and launched. Update procedure documentation appropriately. Identify, document, and implement investment processes required to support new products/product enhancements. Actively seek out any operational risk within the product launch and product enhancements process. You have: Experience in a product management or similar role. Proven product expertise, preferably with ETFs or other UCITS investment products. Awareness of European regulations relating to the European financial services industry and in particular the UCITS regulatory framework. Experience and understanding of multiple asset classes, including equity, fixed income, and commodities. Broad understanding of tax, portfolio management, regulatory and operational requirements. Strong organizational skills, ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and a consistent track record of running projects or assignments independently. Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail, with the ability and willingness to pick up & digest new information quickly. Knowledge of the following an advantage: back-office functions, trade operations, settlements, fund accounting. investment process, cash and synthetic instruments. European Language. VAB, Python, SQL.
