We provide a range of advisory and investment management services to wealthy private clients and their families in the UK and around the world, from offices in London, Hong Kong and Malta (). We are looking for ambitious people to join our growing team.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Operations, we are looking for an Investment and Business Operations Assistant to support the client and investment teams via our bespoke CRM and investment management systems. This is an entry level role with great opportunity for progression, where you will be responsible for all workflows related to business and investment activities, system data and third party relationships. There will be opportunities to help refine and shape the future business through improved process.

You will be responsible for:

• Regular and ad-hoc tasks across the investment operations system, including:

  • daily reconciliation of transaction and trade data
  • ensuring smooth trade preparation and execution
  • cash management
  • support for portfolio valuation reporting across the global business
  • third party platforms that facilitate deal flows and processing (e.g. Calastone)

• Regular and ad-hoc tasks across the client management system, including:

  • client reporting
  • client queries
  • data upload and maintenance
  • data cleansing

• Middle office workflows including:

  • compiling data from third party systems (e.g. Bloomberg, Morningstar) in support of the investment management process
  • regular and ad-hoc tasks to feed and support the client portal
  • formatting and distributing marketing materials via the website, email and social media
  • updating data and charts in marketing materials

About you

Ideal candidates will have a degree with up to two years employment experience. You will be a practical thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to understand complex financial concepts. You will be interested in learning and development, as well as bringing new ideas to the growing business to support improved operational efficiencies.
