* C# and VBA Programmer, Health Economics & Modelling *

*We are looking to fill this role in the *UK or **Europe*; we will consider other locations based on the candidates' experience and qualifications

*The Team*

Our multidisciplinary Modeling and Simulation experts design and implement health economic models that describe complex medical processes to understand and evaluate the implications of clinical trials; demonstrate the value of interventions beyond efficacy, and assess benefits, risks, and economic consequences associated with healthcare interventions.

* Position Overview: *

We are looking for talented programmers to create secure and functional code for the different needs of our health economics and modelling unit within Evidera. Among those is to support our in-house developed modelling applications EviDICE (Excel/VBA) and ROLL (Excel/Microsoft .NET C#).

The ideal candidates will, besides the required software skillset, have a passion for technology and software building. Attention to detail, good communication skills, ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision, on tight deadlines and an analytical mind are required.

An understanding of health economics is a plus but not essential.

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): *

* Maintenance, development and testing of the EviDICE (VBA) and ROLL (C#) modelling platforms, used for health economic modelling (disease pathways and the effect of interventions/drugs on the patients).
* Since both currently interact extensively with Excel, intimate familiarity with Excel is needed. With VBA aging and not being that web-friendly, a need for more parts being coded in Typescript will arise.

* Development of adequate documentation of EviDICE and ROLL platforms
* Support and troubleshooting for EviDICE and ROLL platforms

*Qualifications:*

* Education, Professional Skills & Experience: *

• 3-5 years demonstrable work experience with the mentioned software

• Experience with creating add-ins for Microsoft Office Applications

• Experience with Excel spreadsheet functionality

* Personal Skills & Competencies: *

• MSc or BSc or equivalent in a relevant field.

• High level of spoken & written English

• Documented knowledge of the MS .NET framework and C#

• Highly proficient in VBA for MS Office applications with an emphasis on MS Excel

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
