Job description

The Role:

Our client, an established architecture practice based in North London are looking for an experienced Practice Manager/Head of Operations to join their successful team.

This is a central role within the studio where you will be managing the Studio Assistant and working closely with the HR and Operations Manager to support their growing team. This role would suit someone with at least 5 years of experience in a similar management role and ideally from the architecture industry.

This is an exciting position for someone who wants to play a key part in the business to oversee multiple areas within the company

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing all aspect of the day to day running of the studio to a high-level
• Coordinating planning and execution of internal and external studio events
• Assist with marketing, updating website and social media
• Manage health & safety, risk assessments and maintaining Covid safety measures
• Leading ISO 14001/9001 accreditation and annual audits working closely with HR & Operations Manager
• Oversee all facilities management including planning and assisting with landlord negotiations and service contracts
• Assist HR with development initiatives and support the New Business and Comms departments when required

Key Skills:

• 5+ years relevant/transferable experience
• Experience with ISO and facilities management
• Ability to problem solve and work collaboratively within fast paced studio
• Line management and mentoring experience
• Confident, professional and organised in your approach
• Exceptional written and communications skills
• Multitasker, pragmatic and ability to prioritise and plan effectively
