THE COMPANY

Our client is a large production services company with multiple, modern, state-of-the-art facilities spread over an expansive site. Theyre currently fully booked and very busy - and expansion is planned.

THE ROLE

As COO, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational functions of the whole facility. With a large supporting team, you will ensure productions are moved in and out on time and within budget.

Success in the role is likely to lead to other opportunities within the company or the wider group.

Specific responsibilities will include:

Developing and executing business operational strategies which aligns with the companys mission and vision,
Identifying and setting strategic and short-term operational performance and growth goals
Creating, implementing, assessing and improving innovative operational processes and procedures
Creating and enabling work environment and positive company culture
Leading and motivating teams
Reporting performance of the operational side of the business to the CEO, management and other stakeholders
Building and managing relationships with suppliers, vendors, partners and clients.

PERSON PROFILE

In summary, the successful candidate will be an ambitious high-flyer whose career is demonstrably on an upward trajectory.

With a successful track record in senior operational roles you must have exceptional leadership and organisational skills.

The ability to logically, intelligently and calmly resolve complex logistical issues is paramount.

Communication skills and numeracy are both also essential.

Finally, knowledge of and experience within the creative media sector is highly desirable and if you have film industry experience that will be perfect.
