We are delighted to be working with Blueprint for All, an ambitious organisation promoting and driving equality of opportunity, that is going through an exciting period of huge growth, to recruit for the organisations Communications and Marketing Manager.A key role within a small and extremely talented team, this is a wonderful opportunity to undertake a varied role with lots of potential to shape and develop a marketing and communications strategy for a dynamic organisation that values creativity.Core responsibilities within the role will include:Develop, manage and deliver an effective external and internal communications programme in keeping with the charity's mission, strategy, to increase the influence and impact of our workManage the external communications activities including overseeing relationships with external stakeholders, working in partnership with staff to support them in fulfilling their representational rolesBuilding relationships with pro-bono experts in the field of Communications and PRWork effectively with Senior Leadership Team to ensure external communication activities are co-ordinated with project-specific communications including Fundraising, Facilities and ProgrammesTo write and design bespoke materials and high-quality writing to generate supportCreate, manage and deliver messages clearly, professionally and with consistency to all audiences and supportersBuild relationships within the organisation and externally to support content gathering and impact of messagingCreating and writing regular updates for our website news section, as well as keeping website content up to date, and making improvements to functionalityMonitoring website use and effectiveness.Manage our social media channels, including developing a social media strategy and maintaining our voice on social media in line with our mission.The charity is really looking forward to receiving applications from individuals passionate about equality of opportunity as well as the power of strong marketing and communications output. In addition, you will have:Excellent written skills, with a strong attention to detail, and the ability to write and communicate key findings from quantitative and qualitative data analysis in a clear and compelling manner to a range of audiencesLine management experienceExcellent communication skills with ability to establish a rapport and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and from all sectorsA proven track record in communications and profile-raising, developing engaging and creative communicationsThe ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure, prioritising workload to achieve deadlines.Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.Empathy with the needs of young people and, ideally, experience of working in or with the charity sector.Working knowledge of current IT applications for communications.Computer literacy with excellent knowledge of web page build, PowerPoint, graphics and social media schedulingExperience with CMS e.g. WordPress, SquarespaceDigital marketing experienceIf you'd like to be considered for this role please send your CV to or call on to have an initial chat about the position.Charity People actively promotes equality, diversity and inclusion.
