Position Description: PIMCO is seeking a seasoned marketing professional to lead the firm's content marketing efforts in EMEA. This is a compelling regional role for the right candidate to develop best in class content marketing programs designed to increase audience engagement and enhance client relationships in institutional and wealth management channels across multiple markets in the EMEA region. This role involves working closely with multiple stakeholders, including senior management level investment professionals, as well as external agency partners, where necessary.The ideal candidate will possess excellent written communication skills, strong analytical and project management skills, experience in investment management and will be accustomed to working flexibly in evolving business conditions. The right candidate will have the ability to create/adapt high quality content and translate complicated concepts into comprehensible language and compelling messages for the target audience(s). This role requires a strong understanding of digital, search and social media platforms with experience tailoring content as required.The Content Marketing Manager will report to the Head of Marketing, EMEA, in London. This is a new role and resides within the EMEA Marketing team.Responsibilities include:Define and execute PIMCO's EMEA content marketing strategy in alignment with global priorities and local business objectives to deliver measurable business results for firm initiativesCreate high quality, highly effective and targeted content across regions in a variety of web/digital friendly formats to promote PIMCO's broad range of products and servicesEnsure consistency of messaging, quality control and process implementation across all content created, as well as constant application of all editorial standards (brand, tone of voice, legal and compliance requirements) and best practicesDrive creative content streams for digital sales and engagement programs across various channels (including full funnel social media campaigns) to build personalized client journeys for customer acquisition, retention and engagementKeep up to date with content-related digital best practices, emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities to influence purchase decisions and enhance the client experienceUse advanced analytics and client insights to develop programs for communicating the right message to the right audience at the right time to deliver the right business outcomesPartner with country marketing heads and their teams to ensure optimization of global, regional and local content across a variety of channels including Web, Social, Direct Mail, Events & Paid MediaPartner with cross-divisional stakeholders to ensure business alignment and efficiencies through regional collaboration and effective use of Portfolio Management / Product Strategy Group timeManage sign offs with multiple stakeholders at all levels; collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across BAU, campaigns and projects to deliver quality content on tight deadlinesSeek efficiency through identifying and prioritizing the development of content that aligns to objectives in the maximum number of geographies and channels Position Requirements: Education:Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or business related disciplineProfessional qualification in economics or finance (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is strongly desiredExperience:Extensive experience in investment writing/product content experienceAsset management or financial services industry background preferredSome experience working in, or collaborating with, a marketing function; however, broader investment management experience is likely to be more valuable than marketing experience in another industry. Candidates with communications, product management or sales experience from the investment management industry will also be considered.Demonstrated ability to deliver on assigned responsibilities through use of effective interpersonal and communication skills, seeking cross-functional input as well as ensuring a high level of attention to detail, and timely follow throughExperience working across, or having other exposure to, a number of geographic markets globallyExtensive knowledge of investment products, including fixed income strategies highly desirable; as well as strong background in macroeconomicsKnowledge of the applicable financial regulations in EMEA beneficialFluency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel as well as the Adobe platformGeneral:Extremely strong written and verbal communications skills; with demonstrable experience in the financial sector Exceptional organizational and program management skills, including the ability to manage a large number of ongoing initiativesAbility to manage multiple internal stakeholders effectively Flourish in a challenging, fast-paced, professional environment with shifts in priorities as business needs dictate Benefits: PIMCO is committed to offering a comprehensive portfolio of employee benefits designed to support the health and well-being of you and your family.
