About the Role:
Dewey Group are working alongside an esteemed ground engineering company who are looking for a highly skilled Contract Engineer to join their team
As Contract Engineer you will be responsible for conducting reviews and considering legal aspects of contract award and administration. You will also be responsible for preparing and drafting commercial bids and tenders, estimating the costs of a project and ensuring that the costs are controlled
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Prepare full and accurate instructions for production control
* Review and amend standard contract documentation as required
* Obtain a correct understanding of the client's requirements
* Provide general assistance and advice on contractual and procurement matters as required to support Company's operations
* Prepare update reports on activities as required by Management Reports
* To ensure orders are completed within budget, on time and to the satisfaction of the client
Key Skills and Experience:
* Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or Engineering
* High level of computer literacy
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail
* Creative thinker with the ability to use own initiative
* Effective and confident communicator
* Ability to work well individually and as part of a team, constructively
