Aston Carter is seeking a business and solution-oriented qualified commercial lawyer to join our parent company, Allegis Group, to fill a position in the EMEA legal team.

Allegis Group are searching for a qualified solicitor to join their EMEA legal team to help them with the legal matters involved in supporting our brands across the Allegis Group businesses across the region. They are looking for a candidate who has proven experience as a business and solution-oriented commercial lawyer. Excellent drafting and negotiating skills, as well as strong academic credentials, excellent communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills are also required. Furthermore, given the international nature of the role, the candidate will need to have the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with personnel and provide clear instructions to and obtain clear advice from lawyers from many countries throughout EMEA.
Responsibilities:
- Providing legal advice to the relevant Allegis businesses and brands and to support the senior lawyers in the EMEA legal team on commercial, data privacy and other general legal matters throughout EMEA.
- Keeping up to date with relevant laws in each relevant jurisdiction, expanding their business and technical capabilities to enable them to take lawyers in the EMEA legal team on commercial, data privacy and other general legal matters throughout EMEA where Allegis operates.
- The role is dynamic yet demanding, and the successful candidate will need to be able to handle a significant volume of day-to-day matters in an organized, calm and collected manner, setting expectations and meeting deadlines accordingly.
Key Skills:
- Strong academic credentials.
- Must be qualified to practice law.
- Trained or worked in a top law firm in a corporate, company or commercial seat.
- Preference is for around 5 years relevant PQE- other relevant PQE will be considered.
- Effective technical, analytical and research skills.
- Strong attention to detail and clear drafting skills.
