The Company

A major financial services company located in central London, specialising in credit. With over five million customers they have gone through extensive growth since its founding it the 2000's and become market leaders.

Using their extensive customer knowledge, they work to help their partnered brands to develop their products and services, so that they grow and evolve in line with customer needs, working to ensure customer retention as well as business growth.

The Role

They are seeking a commercially minded and experienced analyst, to join them as soon as possible in their central London offices. Reporting into the pricing and valuation manager, you will use customer behaviour and product knowledge to draw meaningful insights from data and make tactical and strategic recommendations for the business.

You will:

Create new and innovative modelling techniques to model new products
Create board level reporting on the performance of new and existing products and customer acquisitions
Work towards forecasting and managing financial risk
Work collaboratively with a range of functions and teams
Work with SQL and SAS, and soon within the next six months, Python

For this role you will already have experience working in a transferable analyst position but excellent training and support is available for this position.

Required Skills

Competent coding experience preferably using Python, SAS or SQL but other languages will be considered
Strong technical experience in modelling in Excel
Strong logical and methodical approach to solving problems
Ability to analyse and spot trends within data and present concisely back to management
