Delivery Manager

An exciting new role has arisen for a Delivery Manager to join one of the UK's most progressive technology Company as they enter an exciting new phase of digital expansion.

Joining a market-leading UK consumer brand, the Delivery Manager will take ownership for the delivery of projects within their product portfolio, including both Greenfield work and improving existing platforms.

With a strong Agile mentality, the Delivery Manager will be comfortable working to a Scrum & Kanban approach, working collaboratively as part of a cross-functional Agile environment.

Delivery Manager responsibilities include;

• Communicating any delivery issues, dependencies and/or risks to the overall Digital Transformation Programme to ensure that these are managed accordingly.

• Assisting with initial planning stages for new projects - timeline mapping, initial estimates, framing the Definition of Workflow, setting DoD, etc.

• Working with the Head of Programme Delivery and Product Managers to confirm all appropriate project kickoff steps are taken before development begins.

• Creating an environment whereby knowledge is shared and managed effectively.

• Facilitating Sprint planning sessions, retrospectives and other Agile ceremonies for allocated business units and providing consultation of these for other business areas.

• Supporting the creation and review of squad OKRs, promoting lean ways of working, validating hypotheses and learning fast.

• Proactively managing and resolving issues, risks, dependencies and impediments that may impact the squad's objectives.

• Contribute to Delivery Manager Community of Practice - sharing and demoing the latest industry ideas and practices.

• Lead the Squad life' - encouraging teams to function with the optimum balance of autonomy and alignment (as outlined in methodologies such as the Spotify Model'.

The role can be worked predominantly remotely (80% of the time) but the Delivery Manager will need to come to the office perhaps once a week.

On offer is a basic salary of up to £60,000 as well as various Company benefits including annual bonus, 28 days holiday + bank holidays, private healthcare and lots more!
