Description: CI-CD Engineer

Contract: 6 months rolling

Location: 100% remote

We are looking for skilled engineers to join our expanding CI-CD team for a new enterprise messaging platform utilising Kubernetes, Kafka, MongoDB and many other technologies. If you have a proven track record of delivering quality CI-CD solutions for highly available, high throughput, distributed, scalable and secure systems, then this could be the role for you.

The Role:

• Develop and maintain pipelines across multiple projects and environments

• Co-ordination of Continuous Build/Integration process across multiple workstreams

• Ensure continuous release of changes into higher environments as and when needed

• Management of applications while in Development on a day-to-day basis

• Production deployments

• Work with Dev Lead and Architects to review and refine as needed

Skills Needed:

• Strong experience in AWS cloud environments such as configuring load balancers, networking and security mechanisms

• Experience building CI-CD pipelines from scratch and deploying always-on systems

• Hands on experience of CI-CD tools e.g. Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform and deployment tools such as Harness/Spinnaker etc.

• Strong experience with CI-CD security such as usage of secure secrets storage, container signing etc.

• Good experience with Terraform, Groovy, Helm etc.

• Must have experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, OpenShift, etc.)

• Ability to work effectively in an agile team

• Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders at a variety of levels

• Financial services experience is desirable but not essential
